Ken Quigley has resigned as president of Continuum Publishing Inc., the North American division of Continuum International Publishing. Philip Sturrock, chairman of Continuum International and president of the U.K. division, will assume Quigley's duties. Sturrock characterized the elimination of Quigley's position as a way to bring the U.K. and U.S. operations "into closer alignment."
Quigley joined Continuum in 2002, following the company's purchase of the Morehouse Group, for which he served as president. Sturrock said no further changes are planned for Morehouse, which is based in Harrisburg, Pa., or for Continuum's New York offices. He noted Continuum will publish about 600 titles worldwide this year, a slight increase over 2003.
