Susan Canavan, recently promoted to senior editor at Houghton Mifflin, is leaving her role as managing director of trade paperbacks to focus on developing her own list of titles. Kate Travers, formerly with Harper Perennial, has been named director of trade paperbacks, acquiring originals and reprints and overseeing backlist and reprints from the HM list.
