Powers, who has worked on campaigns for authors Sue Monk Kidd and Dava Sobel, also held posts earlier in her career at Walker & Co. and Facts on File.
Brooks and O'Shea Up at Knopf
Gabrielle Brooks and Sheila O'Shea have both been promoted at Knopf. Brooks has been bumped up from director of promotion to v-p, director of promotion and serial rights, while O'Shea has been promoted from publicity manager to associate director of publicity.
