John Niedhart has been named B&N national accounts sales manager at DK Publishing. For the past six years, Niedhart has held editorial positions at O'Reilly Media and Addison Wesley.
Promos at Tyndale
C.J. Van Wagner, Todd Watkins and Teresa Clarke have been promoted at Illinois-based Tyndale House. Van Wagner has been named v-p of production; Watkins is now design manager; and Clarke is v-p of finance.
Eisner Henkin To Trident
Alyssa Eisner Henkin has joined Trident Media Group as an agent for children's and young adult books. Eisner Henkin, who was most recently an editor at Simon & Schuster's Books for Young Readers, has edited such authors as Lauren Thompson, Coleen Paratore and Cynthia Rylant.
Promos at S&S Audio
Ken Oxenreider and Sarah Lieberman have been promoted at Simon & Schuster Audio. Oxenreider has been bumped up from national accounts director to v-p, director of audio. Lieberman has been named associate director of marketing sales.
Hetherington To CUP
David Hetherington has joined Columbia University Press as chief financial officer. Hetherington arrives from Wolters Kluwer Health, where he was director of internal control.
Correction
In the Comics Bestseller list (Nov. 6) it was incorrectly noted that Svetlana Chmakova's Dramacon is on the ALA's list of great graphic novels for teens. It has been nominated for the list.
