It's been about three months since Harcourt Trade closed its San Diego and New York offices following its purchase by Houghton Mifflin. A number of former Harcourt staffers moved to the newly formed Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, some in interesting ways. Sarah Shealy and Barbara Fisch, for example, who were in a job share at Harcourt as the co-directors of children's publicity, stayed in San Diego and now work remotely, in the same capacity, for HMH. And Sandy Grebenar, who was v-p and director of production and design, is one of the few people to have moved to Boston to work at HMH. While a number of people who were at Harcourt are still looking for work, here's a snapshot of where some of the former Harcourt staffers have landed.
