Grady Up at HC
Lynn Grady has been promoted to senior v-p & deputy publisher for the William Morrow and Eos imprints of HarperCollins. Grady, who reports to Lisa Gallagher, has spent the last three years as v-p, associate publisher.
Publishing Technology Restructures
Publishing Technology, which grew out of the 2007 merger between VISTA and Ingenta, has restructured its executive management team, with Colin Bettle, former managing director of VISTA Europe, now overseeing the global group as COO. Doug Wright, former v-p of Ingenta, is now executive v-p of the scholarly division. Brian Gibson, former CEO of VISTA North America, has been named COO of publishing applications. Louise Tutton has joined the executive management board as senior v-p of the scholarly division.
Wikert to O'Reilly
Joe Wikert has joined O'Reilly as general manager, O'Reilly Technology Exchange. Wikert had been v-p and executive publisher at Wiley's professional/trade division, where he headed the WROX and Sybex units.
Matthews Joining Workman
Kristin Matthews will join Workman October 27 as executive director of publicity. A former producer and book editor at the CBS Early Show, Matthews succeeds Amy Corley, who has been appointed executive director of publicity for Workman's Artisan Books imprint.
