Although everyone's still a little unsure of just how valuable a Twitter following is—does Ashton Kutcher really have more pull than CNN?—celebrities, news organizations and entertainment conglomerates are scrambling to get more followers on the social networking site. A look at publishers' Twitter accounts shows that most houses leave the tweeting up to the imprints; a few of the big six houses, like Hachette and Macmillan, don't even have Twitter accounts. (When you think about it, does corporate PR really need a bullhorn to discuss company business?) So who is twittering, and how effectively?
