Saada to Disney
Yves Saada has been hired to the newly created position of v-p of digital media at Disney Publishing Worldwide. Saada has held senior positions at Pokemon USA, Mattel and Microsoft.
Huggins Leaving Anova
Roger Huggins is stepping down from his position as executive director of the London-based publisher, Anova Books, effective July 31. Huggins said in a statement that he felt it was “time to move on” after 40 years with the company and is looking forward to becoming involved in new projects.
Halley to U of Mass Press
Brian Halley has been named editor at University of Massachusetts Press. He was previously editor at Beacon Press.
Correction
In last week's “Might of the Living Dead,” it was incorrectly cited that Max Brooks' World War Z had sold 200,000 copies: the book has sold 600,000 copies in all formats.
