Publishers Weekly editors have gathered over 1,000 adult titles across 18 major categories that we are expecting will be the stars of the very busy upcoming season. (Fall Children’s Announcements will appear in the July 21 issue.) Each category has been assigned to one of our editors, who, using his or her expertise, has selected around 60 titles publishing between Aug. 1, 2014, and Jan. 31, 2015. From those 60 come the top 10 picks in the category and an essay introducing them, with an eye toward trends.
We think everyone in the industry will find our choices prescient and provocative, and hope that our selections—the obvious blockbusters, as well as the sleepers—will be helpful in planning for the months ahead.
And please take a look at the full aggregation to browse the titles by publisher, imprint, subject category, publication date, and format, along with information like author bios, marketing plans, and full description for each book.
