Spring 2016 Adult Announcements: All Our Coverage

Looking forward to the books of the spring season always makes us feel as ebullient as Persephone, and this announcements issue is no exception. Each editor selected 60 anticipated titles in 16 major categories, and from those, chose a top-10 list. We considered thousands of books being published between February 1 and July 31, and, with our expertise and a belief in crossed stars, we picked our winners.

Who doesn’t love a horse race?

In this feature, we offer hundreds of adult titles (Spring Children’s Announcements will appear in the Jan. 25, 2016, issue) that we predict will garner attention (and hopefully sales). Our goal is to offer booksellers and librarians a tool to help them in planning ahead, and to present the industry with information that reflects our vision and experience.
