Broken Silence by Natasha Preston tops the list of bestselling titles on the Smashwords platform for the month of December. The romance, which also took the #1 spot on our November list, debuted on the Smashwords bestseller list in 2014.

Last month, our list only featured romance titles. But for December we find nine books from different genres, including Cozy Christmas Shorts, a collection of 11 holiday-themed cozy mysteries, by Gemma Halliday (in at #5), and teen mom turned reality-TV star Kailyn Lowry’s memoir, Hustle and Heart (in at #6).

Additionally, December’s list features a book of poetry (I Still Want It by Derrick Jaxn, in at #23); Maci Bookout’s memoir about her role on MTV's Teen Mom (Bulletproof, in at #14); and Mark Manson’s dating guide (Models: Attract Women Through Honesty, in at #17), which is described as “a book on becoming an attractive man based not on tricks, tactics, games or techniques, but on self-development.”
