The Publishers Weekly Stock Index had a good February, rising 2.3% compared to 4.8% for the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Some of the biggest losers in January were among the biggest winners in February. In fact, Educational Development Corp. went from the biggest loser in January to the top-performing stock on the PWSI last month. The company is still facing operational challenges contending with its explosive growth, but in February investors focused more on the opportunities than the struggles the company has endured.
