Chronicle Books has announced that later this month, Jody Mosley will be joining the company in the role of children’s executive publishing director. Currently, Mosley is v-p and associate publisher of Abrams Children’s Books and ComicArts. In her new role, Mosley will lead a children’s publishing program that releases more than 70 titles per year, with a roster of bestselling authors that includes Annie Barrows and Sophie Blackall, Sherri Duskey Rinker, Hervé Tullet, and Brendan Wenzel, among others.
In 2016, Mosley was named associate publisher at Abrams. She previously held sales positions at Random House, Macmillan, and Hachette. Mosley replaces Ginee Seo, who left Chronicle last May and has joined Ten Speed Press.
