SPRING 2025 ADULT PREVIEWS - COMPLETE GUIDELINES
Submitting your books for inclusion in Publishers Weekly's spring 2025 adult previews is an easy two step process:
STEP 1
A. Login or create an account on PW's GalleyTracker system, the same one used for submitting books for PW review consideration.
B. Go to the Previews section and click on the Enter Adult Previews link.
C. This link takes you to a page with a box where you enter (or copy-and-paste) a list of 13-digit ISBN (EAN) numbers which should correspond with the books you want considered for PW's spring 2025 preview issues. Each ISBN should be separated by a line break. In other words the list should look like this:
9781234567890
9780987654321
978-1234-5678-90
It's OK to include dashes, but not necessary; and it's OK to list as many ISBNs as you'd like. (For titles being published in multiple formats simultaneously, please submit the ISBN for only one format.)
D. Once you've entered your list of ISBNs, you will receive an email confirming your entry, including a list of the ISBNs.
STEP 2
Approximately one day later, you will receive an email from the GalleyTracker system telling you that your ISBNs have been processed, which means we have added the following information (from Ingram) for each of your titles:
- title & subtitle
- contributors (author, illustrator, translator, editor)
- publish date
- imprint
- pages
- price
- format
- BISAC category
- marketing description
This email will have a URL you can click on, or you can login to GalleyTracker, to edit and/or add information to your titles.
Note: If you only see the ISBN for your book on this page, but no other data, this means that your book's metadata is not yet available in Ingram and you will need to enter it manually by clicking "View/Edit." Entries submitted with missing metadata may not be considered.
Three additional pieces of information we ask for are the acquiring editor; "lead title," which tells our editors that a title is one of your key titles for the preview period; and print run, which also helps our editors better understand a title's importance.
You can login to GalleyTracker and make these edits/changes -- and you can also add new titles -- at any time before the submission deadline. After the deadline, you will not be able to change or add any new information.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We are seeking information on adult trade titles (new titles only, no reprints) being published in all general trade formats (hardcover, trade paper, mass market, e-book) between Feb. 1 and July 31, 2025.
The submission period for adult titles opens on Sept. 10 and closes on Sept. 25.
There is no limit to the number of titles that a publisher can submit, but each must be scheduled to publish within the date range specified above in order to be considered for inclusion.
PW reserves the right to edit entries for consistency, coherence, and concision; submission of titles does not guarantee inclusion in print.
This information will form the basis of our print preview issues. The fiction and nonfiction preview issue will publish on Dec. 9 and will focus on the highlights of the upcoming season in several genres and categories.
