Anzuelo by Emma Ríos. Image, $24.99; ISBN 979-8-3688-0926-7. Ríos pits a group of teens against a changed world in a bid to survive in this postapocalyptic eco-horror graphic novel. The book received a starred review from PW.

The Creature of Habit Tries His Best by Jennifer E. Smith, illus. by Leo Espinosa. Random House Studio, $18.99; ISBN 978-0-593-43461-1. In the sequel to A Creature of Habit Story, the titular creature takes on a new challenge: learning to ride a bike.

If You Can Hear This by Faith Gardner. HarperCollins, $19.99; ISBN 978-0-06-334710-6. Aspiring journalist Posey Spade joins Wild Pines High School’s AV club, and when the group’s faculty sponsor disappears Posey encourages the club to launch its own investigation.

Mallory in Full Color by Elisa Stone Leahy, illus. by Maine Diaz. Quill Tree, $19.99; ISBN 978-0-0632-5553-1. Twelve-year-old half-Korean and half-white Mallory struggles with advocating for herself and finds solace through her sci-fi web comic.

Perfect Girl by Tracy Banghart. Feiwel and Friends, $19.99; ISBN 978-1-250-90286-3. High schooler Jessa and her older brother Josh invite friends over while their parents are out of town, but when an electrical storm cuts the power and friends start disappearing one by one, they must find a way to survive the night.

Take It from the Top by Claire Swinarski. Quill Tree, $18.99; ISBN 978-0-063321-73-1. Eowyn Becker hopes that acting with her best friend Jules as leads in their camp play will help mend the recent rift in their friendship, but worries that an incident from last summer’s production will stand in the way. The middle grade book received a starred review from PW.

Thanks for Listening by Molly Horan. HarperCollins, $19.99; ISBN 978-0-0633-1842-7. Frustrated that no one ever listens to her suggestions, Mia starts an anonymous advice channel while grappling with new feelings for piano prodigy transfer student Sadie.

The Whispering Night by Susan Dennard. Tor Teen, $19.99; ISBN 978-1-250-33948-5. In the conclusion to the Luminaries trilogy, Winnie Wednesday faces off against surprise guests and unexpected enemies during the Nightmare Masquerade.
