Good Golden Sun by Brendan Wenzel. Little, Brown, $19.99; ISBN 978-0-316-51263-3. Caldecott Honoree Wenzel’s saturated collage and mixed-media spreads trace the sun as it travels across Earth’s sky, while wide-eyed creatures ponder its light and warmth.
Halfway to Somewhere by Jose Pimienta. Random House Graphic, $21.99; ISBN 978-0-5935-6945-0; $13.99 paper ISBN 978-0-593-56942-9.
