Candlewick Press is the first publisher to bring a suite of products featuring illustrations from its books to Zazzle, the online retailer of custom products. The Candlewick Press store, which went live earlier this week, offers more than 1000 items, including baby clothing, gift wrap, cards, and home furnishings.
“We are excited to partner with Zazzle to give families an opportunity to enjoy some of the best-loved Candlewick picture books in a new way,” said Mary McCagg, licensing and key property development director for Candlewick.
The initial Candlewick offering includes items with art from Leslie Patricelli’s Huggy Kissy and Fa La La; Shirley Parenteau’s Bear on Chairs, illustrated by David Walker; and Lucy Cousins’s Hooray for Fish and Maisy Goes on Vacation. The press plans to add items with characters from additional titles.
