Baker & Taylor has released a new “all-in-one” mobile app for library users.
With the app, users at B&T customer libraries will be able to access digital content (including e-books and audiobooks) through a single sign-on, eliminating the need for Adobe IDs, or additional apps and credentials. That means users will no longer need Acoustik, Blio or axisReader apps, as all titles will now open directly in the new Axis 360 app.
Users will also have access to their bookshelf, from all their devices, whether a desktop, tablet or smartphone. The app will be available for free from iTunes, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore in the coming weeks, and will work with Apple, Android and “select” Kindle mobile users.
