Frrankfurt Book Fair officials announced today that registrations for the Literary Agents & Scouts Centre (LitAg) have set a new record. With 456 tables booked, the rights center is sold out, easily surpassing last year’s record of 448 tables.

According to a release, some 308 agencies from 33 countries will be present in the LitAg at the 2014Frankfurt Book Fair, with the largest contingent from the U.S., with 72 agencies, followed by 59 British and 44 German registrations. Some 25 new agencies are coming to Frankfurt this year, among them visitors from Bulgaria, Chile and Italy.

The LitAg will open on October 7, 2014, one day before the official start of the Frankfurt Book Fair, and will remain open until October 12 .
