Random House's Vintage Books is bringing James Baldwin into the 21st century. The imprint is planning to publish 13 of the authors works, including Giovanni's Room and Go Tell It On the Mountain, in e-book on September 17. The release will mark the first time Baldwin's titles will be available in digital format. All e-books will be priced at $9.99.
Among the other titles by Baldwin coming to digital through the deal are his play The Amen Corner, and the essay collection, Nobody Knows My Name. On September 17, Vintage will also reissue trade paperback editions of Giovanni's Room and Go Tell It on the Mountain (Baldwin's first novel, which Knopf originally published in 1953).
