Princeton University Press today announced a deal with Ingram to digitize its out-of-print backlist titles and make theme available in print-on-demand or e-book editions.

The program, dubbed the Princeton Legacy Library will give new life to over 3000 out of print titles, and with over 1,200 titles to released this month, and subsequent “batches” planned through 2016.

Books included in the first release will cover the years from approximately 1980 to 2000. Princeton Assistant Director and Director of Marketing Adam Fortgang noted that the project comes a the press has seen “a significant increase in demand for our out-of-print books.”
