Not even The Blood of Olympus, the much anticipated finale of Rick Riordan’s The Heroes of Olympus series, could oust Gone Girl from the top spot on Apple’s iBooks bestseller list. In addition to the novel staying at #1 on Apple's chart, the film adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s bestselller, which hit theaters October 3, once again led the weekend box office.

John Sandford’s The Deadline, out October 7, debuted on the list at #3, for the week ended October 13.
