Apple is ringing in Canadian independence by unveiling its iBookstore in the country. Today, in addition to being Canada Day, also marks the opening of the Canadian iBookstore. PW confirmed that among the five major publishers that sell their titles in the American iBookstore, Hachette, Simon & Schuster, and HarperCollins all have their titles for sale in the Canadian digital storefront.
HarperCollins is among the publishers selling titles it publishes on its HC Canada list, including Lawrence Hill's The Book of Negroes and Tish Cohen's The Truth About Delilah Blue.
