E-book distributor INscribe Digital has launched INstore, a new digital tool that allows publishers to track the real-time availability of their e-books at major e-book retailers. INstore is available now and INscribe Digital will be demoing the product at the upcoming BookExpo America in New York.
INstore gives publishers a real-time dashboard that aggregates all kinds of data about their e-books from identifying published titles that are live at retailers to providing email notifications about content status. INstore also locates newly published titles that are not available but should be and allows publishers to compile reports and collect and sort links to the retail pages of their e-books for use in marketing and promotional efforts.
The new tool helps publishers “avoid lost sales due to incorrect files or data,” according to Anne Kubek, INscribe Digital executive v-p and general manager, who said INstore offers publishers “a snapshot of e-book availability across retail channels on one dashboard. INstore is also an immensely powerful database that allows publishers and third-party partners to filter quantities of data that can power their sales and marketing engines in new ways that drive revenue.”
