Patricia "Patti" Hughes, a longtime Macmillan executive and, most recently, the publisher's v-p of distribution, sales and special markets, died on June 12. She was 60.
Hughes, Brooklyn-born and New Jersey-raised, spent the bulk of her life in the New York area, working in publishing. She was at Macmillan Publishing for 27 years, and also did stints at Random House, Little, Brown, and other houses.
Hughes is survived by her husband, Larry; her children, Emily, Gregory, and Sarah; a son-in-law, mother, and five siblings. For information on visitation hours and the funeral service, read the full obituary here.
