Sarah Catherine “Sally” Lindsay, formerly v-p of merchandising and marketing at Koen Book Distributors, died at her home in Rockville, Md., on November 27. She was 70.
Lindsay began her publishing career working at David’s Bookshelf in Morrisville, Pa., and at the first Encore Books in Philadelphia, Pa. She later joined Koen Book Distributors, where she worked for more than 25 years and eventually rose to the position of v-p of merchandising and marketing.
Lindsay was also a cofounder of Two Lives Publishing, a niche publishing house. In addition, she worked at Chesapeake & Hudson Publisher Representatives as its director of special sales and telemarketing.
A memorial service will be held January 4, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. EST, at the Woman’s Club of Bethesda, located at 5500 Sonoma Road in Bethesda, Md.
