The 2014 PubWest Design Awards announced that it is now accepting submissions. In its 30th year, the awards were developed to recognize superior design and outstanding production quality of books throughout North America.
Book entries are judged on typography, jacket design, interior design, format, selection of material used, and printing and binding production quality. The prize is divided into 20 print categories, including adult trade, cookbooks, reference books, and children's books. The awards also recognize three e-book categories: e-book standard, and two new additions this year, enhanced e-book, and book apps.
