Comedian and journalist Faith Salie, who appears on NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! and CBS News Sunday Morning, will serve as the master of ceremonies at BookExpo America's Adult Book and Author Breakfast this year.

Salie will be joined by three guest authors; each will discuss current projects, the writing process, and the impact books have on culture today. Guests include Sebastian Junger, author of Tribe: On Homecoming and Belonging (Twelve); Colson Whitehead, author of The Underground Railroad: A Novel (Doubleday); and Louise Penny, author of A Great Reckoning (Minotaur).

The event will take place on Thursday, May 12, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am in the Special Events Hall of McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill. The Children's Book and Author Breakfast will follow on Friday, May 13, featuring emcee Jamie Lee Curtis and speakers Sabaa Tahir, Gene Luen Yang, and Dav Pilkey.
