The first PW Editors' Picks panel at the U.S. Book Show was held this afternoon, with PW reviews editor Meg Lemke hosting eight book editors to discuss upcoming comics and graphic novel titles for both children and adults.
Titles featured in the conversation, all of which were selected by PW, were: The Eightfold Path by Steven Barnes and Charles Johnson, illus. by Bryan Christopher Moss (Megascope); Himawari House by Harmony Becker (First Second); Magical Boy by The Kao (Graphix); No One Else by R. Kikuo Johnson (Fantagraphics); Passport by Sophia Glock (Little, Brown); Power Born of Dreams: My Story Is Palestine by Mohammad Sabaaneh (Street Noise); The Unfinished Corner by Dani Colman, illus. by Rachel “Tuna” Petrovicz (Wonderbound); and The Waiting by Keum Suk Gendry-Kim (Drawn & Quarterly).
