Rick Wolff has preempted U.S. rights to TED curator Chris Anderson's Talk This Way! The Official TED Guide to Public Speaking. The deal marks Wolff's first acquisition for his new line of business books at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
John Brockman at Brockman, Inc., sold the book to Wolff, who was appointed senior executive editor at HMH in September. (Wolff joined HMH after being laid off from Hachette, in June, when the publisher closed his business imprint, Business Plus.)
Brockman has sold the book in multiple countries, including Canada, Brazil, China, Spain and the U.K.
