The bestselling author of Wild, Cheryl Strayed, has closed a deal with Knopf to publish a book of collected quotes. Brave Enough, which Robin Desser acquired North American rights to, and is scheduled for October 27, will feature 100 of the author's most popular pearls of wisdom that, per the publisher, capture her "courage, and outspoken humor."

Knopf said fans of the author's writing have emblazoned her quotes on everything from mugs to their own bodies. For Strayed, quotes are "mini-instruction manuals for the soul." She went on: "Quotes, at their core, almost always shout Yes! Brave Enough aims to be a book of yes.”

In addition to Wild (Knopf, 2012), which according to Nielsen BookScan has sold more than 804,000 print copies to date, Strayed is the author of the novel Torch (Houghton Mifflin, 2006) and the nonfiction collection Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar (Vintage, 2012).
