Simon & Schuster will publish Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine’s official campaign book, Stronger Together, on September 6.
S&S, Clinton's longtime publisher, said that the book's contents will be derived from policy speeches and position papers the Clinton campaign has issued over the past 15 months, and will include contributions from campaign staffers and introductions written by both Clinton and Kaine.
The book will focus on Clinton's specific plans, echoing the candidate's nomination speech, which stressed dedication to the details of governance: "It's true," Clinton said, "I sweat the details of policy."
“For the past 15 months, Hillary Clinton has laid out solutions for a wide range of issues affecting the American people," S&S publisher Jonathan Karp said in a statement. "This publication gives voters the opportunity to get deeper into those ideas and the stories of everyday people that have influenced those ideas.”
The Clinton/Kaine campaign was represented by Clinton’s literary attorney, Robert B. Barnett of Williams & Connolly. S&S has published all five of Clinton's previous books, including It Takes a Village and her most recent memoir, Hard Choices.
