Michael Tamblyn, chief content officer at e-book retailer Kobo and a member of the Kobo founding executive team, has been named president. Tamblyn, who also retains his duties as chief content officer, will report to newly appointed Kobo CEO Taka Aiki.
Tamblyn joined Kobo in 2009 when the e-book retailer was called Shortcovers. Before joining Kobo he was the founding CEO of BookNet Canada and he also founded Bookshelf.ca, Canada’s first online bookstore in 1998.
