After the first trailer for the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey dropped on July 24, lighting up the internet, the first book in E.L. James's trilogy shot back up to the top of Amazon's bestseller list.

As of the afternoon of July 25, Fifty Shades of Grey sat at #1, moving up from #62 in a 6,100% increase. The book also hit #1 on the Top Paid Kindle list, jumping from #65.

The box-set of the trilogy sat one behind Fifty Shades on the print list, coming in at #2, rising from #96. The second book in the series, Fifty Shades Darker, ranked #29, and the closer, Fifty Shades Freed, landed just behind at #30.

The film, which stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan in the lead roles, opens in theaters in February 2015.
