This week bol.com, the largest provider of e-books in the Netherlands and Belgium, began selling Kobo e-readers and tablets. Its customers will also have access to Kobo e-books. Digital books purchased on either bol.com or Kobo will be automatically accessible on Kobo devices. In a few weeks, e-books will also be available via a bol.com-Kobo app.
“We are pleased to be in partnership with one of the pioneers and innovators of e-reading in the Netherlands and Belgium,” said Kobo president and chief content officer Michael Tamblyn in a press release. “Like bol.com, we believe that success comes from loving books as much as our customers do.”
