It will be operated by Matt Carr, who founded Little Red Fox eatery with his wife, Jena. Each month The Den will feature a cookbook from P&P, with a dish on the menu selected from the cookbook.
Poetry Madness at Powell’s Books: With March Madness over, Powell’s in Portland, ore., is planning a different kind of madness for Poetry Month, starting with a vote that ends on Thursday for “Class Clown.”
Brooklyn’s PS Bookshop to Close: The ten-year-old used and out-of-print bookstore in DUMBO, which specializes in architecture and photography is likely to close at the end of the month. Founder Yuval Gans was given a bill for back taxes of $32,000 two years ago, and has tried to pay it down. Now he owes 2016 taxes and is in arrears on rent.
