Sunrise Books Opening in High Point, N.C.: Angel Schroeder will open a 600-sq. ft. bookstore in the Triad area on Independent Bookstore Day, April 30. She chose the location in an up-and-coming area where a new brewpub just opened, Brown Truck.

Jane Addams Bookstore Owner Dies: Flora Faraci, who opened the bookstore in downtown Champaign, Ill., in 1984 and operated it until 2009, died on April 6. She was 77.
