The new target date for Barnes & Noble's first concept store to open is now November 22.
The concept store, which will feature a restaurant, had originally been set to open in an old Borders' location in Eastchester, N.Y. in late October. Two weeks ago, B&N said the opening had been delayed to December, but it reversed course last week, setting the opening for this Thursday, November 18.
If the outlet does open on November 22, it will coincide with the announcement of its financial results for the second quarter. B&N plans to open five concept stores over the next several months.
