Barnes & Noble is looking to boost holiday sales with an aggressive promotion online at BN.com for Cyber Monday today. The country’s largest bookstore chain is offering online shoppers 15% off their entire order, including both book and nonbook items.
B&N has made significant investments in its online business this year since a troubled relaunch in 2015. Sales at BN.com rose 12.5% in the recently concluded second quarter of fiscal 2017, the first time sales increased at the site in some time .
In addition, BN.com is making a number of special promotions available, including 30% off personalized books for young children. The books are part of B&N’s partnership with Put Me in the Story, which allows shoppers to include a name and photo in more than 100 books.
Customers who shop online at BN.com on Cyber Monday can also take advantage of Barnes & Noble’s Gift Card offer: a free $10 Reward Card with the purchase of $50 or more of Gift Cards.
