Johnny Igaz, music buyer at Green Apple Books in San Francisco and resident DJ at Outpost where he goes by the name “Nackt,” is among the missing following Friday night’s fire at the Oakland warehouse, known as the Ghost Ship.
Before 34-year-old Igaz was declared missing on December 3, his co-workers at Green Apple Books and Music posted a note on Facebook to let him know that they were “worried.” Both they and his colleagues at Green Apple Books on the Park asked that if anyone hears from him that they notify the store. “Our thoughts are with the victims and loved ones of those missing in the tragic Oakland fire,” they also wrote.
The death toll from the December 2 fire has already reached 33. While the search for the missing continues, the District Attorney’s office has launched a criminal investigation.
