Social Cues
Secrets for the Mad, a memoir with song lyrics by YouTube singer-songwriter Dodie Clark, debuts at #10 in trade paper. It follows Adultolescence, an illustrated book of poetry by fellow YouTuber Gabby Hanna, #25 on our current list and also published by Keywords, Atria’s imprint for social media stars. In contrast to the typical Keywords title, which shows a photo of the author, the jackets of these two books are illustrated in soft pastels not unlike the cover of the newest release from Instagram poet Rupi Kaur, which is #1 in trade paper for the sixth consecutive week.
