After cancelling its in-person Winter Institute over Covid-19 concerns, the American Booksellers Association has announced that it will expand its virtual Snow Days event from two days to three. Originally set for March 8-9, the event will now run March 8-10.
Snow Days was designed to feature recorded presentations from the in-person Winter Institute, which was planned for February 14-16 in Cincinnati before it was canceled. The new Snow Days is being billed by the ABA as a “virtual bookselling retreat.”
The association said that registration and the full schedule will be published in the ABA’s BTW newsletter next week. A teaser suggests that Snow Days will feature many of the same authors and speakers who were set to appear at Winter Institute.
