But in the mountain region, which includes Brandon Sanderson’s adopted home state of Utah, Wind and Truth—the fifth and final book in Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive—blew past the canine superhero.
In Clubland
The Good Morning America Book Club December pick, The Last One by Rachel Howzell Hall, debuts at #16 on our hardcover fiction list. Hall, best known for her crime fiction, “launches a new series with this thrilling romantasy,” per our review. Read with Jenna tapped the late poet Mary Oliver’s Devotions; the 2020 trade paper edition moved a little over 7,500 print units, or five times as many as the week before. Oprah recognized Small Things Like These, Claire Keegan’s 2021 novel, which was recently adapted as a movie starring Cillian Murphy. Post-announcement, weekly print unit sales more than doubled to 13K.
