Germany’s largest comic event will be held in 15 locations around Munich, with Künstlerhaus am Lenbachplatz and the Old Town Hall at Marienplatz as the main venues. The show will host a number of exhibitions, discussion panels, autograph signings, and classes, as well as the presentation of the PENG! And ICOM lifetime achievement awards. Guests include underground commix legends Robert Crumb & Gilbert Shelton, artist Milo Manara, Rags Morales (Action Comics) and Juan Diaz Canales (Blacksad). Regular day passes are 8 € and 4-Day passes are 20 € (6, 15 € for attendees under 18).

Wizard World rolls into the city of brotherly love for a four-day pop culture extravaganza at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Comic programming includes an interactive Q&A session with Stan Lee, panels and portfolio reviews from Marvel Comics, screenings, costume contests, Artists Alley and much more. Other comics guests include artists Salvadore Larroca (Invincible Iron Man), J.G. Jones (Final Crisis), Barry Kitson (Amazing Spider-Man), and Leinil Yu (Indestructible Hulk). 5/31 Scott Snyder & Sean Murphy: The Wake Signing in New York, NY
Writer Scott Snyder (Batman) and artist Sean Murphy (Punk Rock Jesus) will be signing copies of the debut issue of their new deep-sea thriller, The Wake, at Midtown Comics Downtown on Friday, May 31st from 7-9pm. From DC Comics: “Beneath the surface, set amidst the claustrophobic yet beautiful and sweeping ocean-scapes, a discovery is made that will reveal a secret mythology.
