Bestselling cartoonist Jeff Smith is launching Tuki, a new webcomic, this week on his Boneville website. An adventure story set 2 million years in the past, Tuki is offered for free and will be updated three days a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Smith is the author of the Eisner award-winning fantasy epic Bone (Graphix) and RASL (Cartoon Books), a science-fiction noir tale that was named one of PW’s Best Books of 2013. Tuki is set during the ice age and is the story of the first human to leave Africa. The first season of the webcomic will run for 8 weeks and season two will begin in April 2014.
