3/14-3/16: Planet Comicon in Kansas City, MO

Planet Comicon, Kansas City's biggest comic book and pop culture convention, begins on Friday, March 14th at the Bartle Hall of the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The con will be hosting a number of notable comic creators including Scott Snyder, Jill Thompson, Paul Kupperberg, Darwyn Cooke, Jason Aaron, Greg Rucka, Rick Remender, Jenny Frisson, Andrew Robinson, and more. Programming includes panels such as "Comics Without Capes," "Vampires Don't Sparkle," "DMC: Comics and Hip Hop," with Run DMC's Darryl McDaniels, "Breaking into Comics," "Pros and Cons of a Shared Universe," and much more. Single day tickets range from $20-35, and 3-day passes are $60 ($20 for children ages 11-15, free for those 10 and under. 3/14-3/16: Indiana Comic Con in Indianapolis, IN

Indiana Comic Con, "Indianapolis' largest, true comic con," is being held March 14-16 at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. ICC is a celebration of pop culture and fandom, but with an emphasis on comics. Programming includes panels such as "Write or Wrong: A Writer's Guide to Creating Comics," "Anime Myths and Legends," "Superhero Story Time: Comics in the Classroom," and more. Comics guests include George Pérez, Arthur Suydam, Bob Layton, Steve Englehart, Cary Nord, Tony Bedard, Bob Camp and more. 3/14: Ales Kot & Tradd Moore in Winter Park, FL

Join two of the industry's hottest young talents, writer Ales Kot and artist Tradd Moore, for a signing and discussion of their books on Friday, March 14th at 5 p.m. at The Geek Easy inside A Comic Chop in WInter Park, Florida. Kot, whose recent work includes Zero (Image) and Suicide Squad (DC Comics), is the new writer on the all-new Secret Avengers (with artist Michael Walsh). Tradd Moore is the artist on both The Strange Tale of Luther Strode and The Legend of Luther Strode, and is currently working on Marvel's All-New Ghost Rider series (with writer Felipe Smith). 3/15: J.H. Williams III in San Francisco, CA

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Sandman as well as the new The Sandman: Overture miniseries, artist award-winning artist J.H. Williams will be giving a special presentation at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, California as part of the museum's "Sandman: Grains of Sand" retrospective on Saturday, March 15th at 7 p.m. Williams III, whose previous work includes Promethea and Batwoman, will discuss the process and experience of working on Overture, plus give a look at what's to come. 3/15-3/16: London Super Comic Con in London, U.K.

Now in its second year, London Super Comic Con, the U.K.'s biggest and fastest growing comic book convention, is taking place on Saturday, March 15th and Sunday, March 16th at the ExCel Centre in London's Royal Victoria Dock. Some of the industry's top talents will be in attendance including Art Adams, Frank Cho, Charlie Adlard, Mark Buckingham, Howard Chaykin, Katie Cook, Peter David, Alan Davis, Al Ewing, Dave Gibbons, Roger Langridge, David Lloyd, Peter Milligan, Dan Slott and many more. Programming includes panels such as "Comics on Trial! The Story of Comics Censorship," "The Return of Miracleman," "You Don't Know Jack?"
