9/15: Congressman Jon Lewis, Nate Powell, and Andrew Aydin in Columbus, OH

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act, March creators Jon Lewis, Nat Powell, and Andrew Aydin will describe how they brought Lewis's story to graphic form on Monday, September 15 from 5–8pm at the Jean and Charles Schulz Lecture Hall at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum in Columbus, Ohio. A selection of pages from March: Book One and Book Two will be on display as part of 'The Long March: Civil Rights in Cartoons and Comics' exhibit. This event is free. 9/17: Dick Dillin Exhibition Opening Reception in New York, NY

The opening reception for the exhibit 'Dick Dillin - Underrated Comic Genius' will take place on Wednesday, September 17 from 5–10pm at the Society of Illustrators in New York City, New York. The exhibit, on display from September 2 through November 1, showcases decades of Dillin's at Quality Comics and later DC on books including Blackhawk, Batman, Green Lantern, World's Finest, and Justice League of America. $10 cover charge includes refreshments. 9/19–9/21: Cincinnati Comic Expo in Cincinnati, OH

Cincinnati Comic Expo is taking place September 19–21 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since 2010, Cincinnati Comic Expo has brought all the fun and excitement of the best conventions to Cincinnati. Programming includes panels, creator spotlights, screenings, gaming, cosplay, and more.
