Currence Takes Home SIBA Award

The Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance has just announced its 2014 Book Award winners. In the cooking category, the winner was John Currence for Pickles, Pigs & Whiskey: Recipes from My Three Favorite Food Groups and Then Some (Andrews McMeel, Oct. 2013). Born in New Orleans, the Beard Award–winning Currence currently lives in Oxford, Miss., where he has opened and oversees several restaurants.
