The court overseeing the Chapter 7 liquidation of Good Enterprises has approved a motion from the company’s trustee allowing Simon & Schuster to continue distributing the Good Books titles it has in its possession. The court added, however, that S&S must adhere to the standard terms.
The motion had asked for permission for S&S to engage in appropriate promotional activities to speed the sale of titles, such as participating in co-op programs. Any changes to the standard terms will require a separate court order.
