Beginning April 1, St. Martin’s Press will take over the publication of the Palgrave Macmillan Trade list of nonfiction titles in the areas of humanities, social science, and business.
Both part of Macmillan, Palgrave Science and Education and Palgrave Trade had been in the same group, but are now separating with Science and Education reporting to Macmillan UK and Palgrave Trade moving to SMP and reporting to SMP president and publisher Sally Richardson. Palgrave Trade will release approximately 40 titles per year.
“We are excited about adding Palgrave Macmillan Trade, with its pool of talented editorial, marketing and production people, and its history of excellent publishing, to our broad list. We will work to integrate them fully into SMP,” Richardson said.
